2008/2009 UEFA Champions League Group F Preview

Group F should be an easy one with Olympique Lyon and Bayern Munich going through over Fiorentina and Steua Bucaresti. The question is, which club will finish first?
Olympique Lyon
Ligue 1's defending champions have a tendency to disrupt the big clubs' plans by getting draws when they're not considered favorites. This year, they're in a balanced group, and will fight for the top spot against German club Bayern Munich. Fabio Grosso's arrival this summer will give them an experienced left-back who will be able to widen their attack, stretching the opposition's defense in the process.
Bayern Munich
With Miroslav Klose showing great form, and a deep, talented midfield, Bayern have every ingredient necessary for success. Their right-back position has been upgraded with the arrival of Massimo Oddo, but the big question mark will be their goaltending since the great Oliver Kahn retired from football last season.
Steaua Bucaresti
Like Cluj in Group A, Anorthosis in Group B, and Aalborg in Group E, Steaua are only here for the experience. It will be quite a schock if they manage to grab a point.
Fiorentina
The Gigliati are back on the European stage after a long absence. With Gilardino and Mutu in front, they are team that is looking to prove something. Lyon and Bayern should be careful when meeting them while they (Fiorentina) have to get all six points against Steaua to have a chance.
