Barcelona vs Arsenal (2nd Leg Result) )

March 8th 2011 22:10
As expected, no surprises...... BARCA DEFEATED ARSENAL at the Nou Camp in Champions League Match!!!!
With So much anticipation, the match was full of surprises and joys for the Catalans, as equally as a disgraceful and very sad for the Gunners as they are thrown out of Champions League, two times in a row at the hands of BARCELONA!!! And certainly Barca have proved that The Londoners are no match for the Catalonia!

The match was full of excitement in great extent. Along with the sending off RvP, as he got two yellow cards. There was no doubt that Barca will win the match as they always had an upper hand, with the passing game they played, there was no chance for arsenal to take control on the game!
1st Goal: As usual Messi broke the dead lock and score the opener for Barca after some fine finish! Plus Barca enjoyed unbelieveable levels of possession.
2nd Goal: This time it was Xavi who scored the goal, Iniesta slalomed through three players on the edge of the boxand passed it to Villa, who cushioned it into the captain's path. Xavi then finished the move off with the aid of a deflection off Sagna.
3rd Goal: It was a penalty, when Koscielny brought down Pedro, Messi placed it into the bottom right corner and Almunia didn't even dive.

This fixture Score: Barca 3 - 1 Arsenal
Aggregate Score: Barca 4 - 3 Arsenal
Barcelona have qualified for the next round without a doubt!!

Yeah that Van Persie think was BS man. I know it is usually a yellow, but it was a crucial Champions League game, and he sent off someone for a minor mistake that was an accident for sure. I don't follow soccer as much as other sports for this same reason. The refs are complete idiots who are a slave to a rule book and don't improvise. The only good ref was the one doing the World Cup final. I know about all the calls he missed- the karate kick was absurd- but all the same, he would have sent of 3 players on both teams if he had of called the game so strictly. He improvises. He isn't an idiot. He lets teams play soccer in a crucial game, not a game of whistle-blowing for minor nuances.

U r rite up to some extent, but we all know that it is a difficult job for the ref to give precise and accurate decisions, but the sending off order for RvP was not fair, may b ref took it personal for not obeying his whistle call....cuz other than that i dont c any major issue for sending him off!
