There is only one manager in the world who achieved a record that no manager can ever achieve! Streak of 168 unbeaten home league wins! And the only manager to achieve that is Jose Mourinho, 'The Special One'!
But last night this record came to an end by the club who is fighting to keep itself above the relegation zone, Sporting Gijon! And a remarkable achievement for any manager to have and that only manager is Mourinho!

Lets take a look at the stats which achieved him to achieve this emphatic record!

2004/05 Chelsea
Premier League: 14 wins, 5 draws, Champions League: 4 wins, 2 draws, FA Cup: 2 wins, League Cup: 1 win, 1 draw.

2005/06 Chelsea
Premier League: 18 wins, 1 draw, Champions League: 2 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, FA Cup: 4 wins, League Cup: 1 draw.

2006/07 Chelsea
Premier League: 12 wins, 7 draws, Champions League: 5 wins, 1 draw, FA Cup: 3 wins, 1 draw, League Cup: 2 wins.

2007/08 Chelsea
Premier League: 2 wins, 1 draw, Champions League: 1 draw.

2008/09 Inter Milan
Serie A: 14 wins, 5 draws, Champions League: 2 wins, 2 draws, Coppa Italia: 3 wins.

2009/10 Inter Milan
Serie A: 15 wins, 4 draws, Champions League: 4 wins, 2 draws, Coppa Italia: 3 wins.

2010/11 Real Madrid (till Saturday's loss to Sporting Gijon)
La Liga: 14 wins, Champions League: 4 wins, Copa del Rey: 4 wins.

From his first game at Chelsea right up to the most recent match against Sporting Gijon, Mourinho has lost once in 168 home games. That is a record that most managers can only dream of, yet the Special One can lay claim to this feat. In this time, Mourinho has also landed two Premier League titles, two English League Cups, an FA Cup, two Serie A titles, a Coppa Italia and a Champions League trophy.

Selling Torres was a Good Move!

March 24th 2011 09:03

Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli admitted that selling Fernando Torres to Chelsea was a good idea! Liverpool sold Torres to Chelsea this January for £50million to Chelsea. Some thought that this move was a big mistake by Liverpool that time but Liverpool DOF thinks otherwise! As according to him, they were able to sell out-of-form for a huge money, and they used that money buying Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez. Which proved to be very beneficial for the Reds! And considering the current situation, he might be right as Torres is still goal-less at Chelsea! Torres managed just nine goals in 26 games for the Reds earlier this season.

Chelsea vs Man City (Match-Result)

March 20th 2011 18:18

Chelsea overtook Man City at Stamford Bridge as well as in Premier League Table! Liuz a 25-Million signing this January has been a star of the night again and proved to be a crucial signing for the Blues, as he scored the first goal of the game which gave Chelsea a confidence and lifted their game and then at last minute, Ramires struck another goal. Final score: 2-0! This result gave three points to Chelsea and they are now at the third position in Barclay Table!
Citizens started the game well and posed as a great deal of danger for the home side but after around 15 minutes or so, Chelsea woke up and started controlling the game. For last 10-15 minutes of the first half, Chelsea attacked consistently at the visitor's goal. Man City were without their best striker, Teves, as he failed to pass a fitness test today! Meanwhile Chelsea were without Drogba and Anelka, but they both were subbed in the game at 70th minute taking off Florent Malouda and Fernando Torres...which followed by many 'boooos' from the home crowd and they were certainly at the Ancelotti's decision for taking Torres off

EPL Week 16 Results

It was draws galore last weekend in the Premiership as five games ended in draws. Manchester United missed the opportunity to catch up with Chelsea after the Blues were held to a 3-3 draw as United was defeated by Aston Villa. Arsenal jumped back in the title race by beating Liverpool at Anfield and at this point you have to wonder how much longer Benitez will stay in charge of the sinking club. Tottenham also lost at home to promoted-side Wolves. All in all, not a good weekend for the big guns who will try to make up for it in midweek.

Stoke City – Wigan: 2-2

EPL Week 11 Results

November 3rd 2009 02:10
At the beginning of the season, many pundits predicted a three-way fight between Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool for the title while Arsenal would slip out of the "Big Four." Well after eleven games, it's Liverpool who find themselves on the outside looking in due to a string of irregular performances. Indeed, after topping Manchester United 2-0 last week, the Reds fell 3-1 against Fulham this week in a game where both Carragher and Degen were sent off. Meanwhile Arsenal trounced "Big Four" contender Tottenham with a 3-0 win that puts the Gunners in third place with a game in hand. In other games, Manchester United bounced back from last week's defeat with a 2-0 win against Blackburn while Chelsea thrashed Bolton 4-0 with another flawless performance. The full results follow.
