Cristiano Ronaldo Injury Blow

Madrid's Sports-star have injured himself and will be sidelined for atleast 2-3 Weeks! This is a great blow for Madrid as the Champions League second leg is starting from this mid-week and they are already fighting for more points to take over Barca's position as the table leaders and as so far in the season they have been unsuccessful in doing that. He damaged his hamstring in Thursday night's 7-0 win over Malaga, where he scored the hat-rick and took his total goal telly in this season to 37! It was after his third goal that he injured himself, and was forced to exit without being substituted as Mourinho already used all the subs available!

He is set to miss Sunday's game with Racing Santander and after that meeting with Hercules, as well as the second-leg of Madrid's Champions League tie with Lyon, which is currently level at 1-1.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a Grade 1 muscle injury on the left biceps femoris muscle (hamstring). The player will miss 10-15 days. His recovery is being monitored.
