English Clubs Dominance over Europe

After supplying three semi-finalists for three successive seasons, the Premier League endured a miserable time last year, when all four representatives were knocked out before the last four stage in the UEFA Champions League.
What makes English game so powerful that no clubs in the world can compete them, except for clubs like Barcelona and perhaps Real Madrid.
And to support that, we have seen incredibly shocking result, when Tottenham defeated AC Milan and Arsenal defeated Barcelona, both in the first leg of Champions League Tournament. Newly emerging Tottenham defeated the experienced and talented Milan at their own home...and did not let them get back to the game! Similarly, Arsenal whose not that impressive in Domestic league, defeated Barcelona, who are the table leaders in their own League, and not only changed the course of the game, but also totally denied them their 'traditional' passing game, which have trembled many great teams in Europe!
There is no doubt that England is the biggest Soccer Hub in whole of the world, with the most league teams and players, and it is proved as they have the number of teams that are real European Championship Contenders, like Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool. And not only that but their newly emerging contenders have a great deal of potential for the championship, for example, Tottenham, Manchester City.
So what is it that makes them so perfect at playing such a delicate and exclusive football?
One of the reasons for that is that premier league is the most difficult league to play with so much competition for the title race, that weaker teams will not be able to survive this league. SO in order to survive the teams play hard, train to the maximum level, and buy maximum good players or train their own player so much to make them the best player. This automatically takes their teams to such a level where they are good enough to compete with other European teams, and most the times, win against them. And its not a surprise, because we saw that same happened with Tottenham and Manchester City, who are good enough to compete with teams like Lyon or Bayern!!! And, I am so sure that if we have an European Competition which will involve all relegated teams of Europe, English clubs will be very successful in winning that Competition given their competition and quality!
Maybe it is not fair to call the English Clubs dominant, as their success doesn't defines their quality. Even with so much talent and quality why haven't they achieved any success like Madrid or Barcelona or Milan achieved in the past, (except for the past of Manchester United and Liverpool)!
Madrid is one of the biggest club in the world, and no doubt that it is the club with the best history...winning uncountable League titles, most UEFA Champions Leagues, and a lot of success and royalty!!! Similarly, Barcelona who won the most European Cups, and many Spanish Cups and no one can play any interesting and entertaining passing game than Barcelona.
But why only numbered English clubs come to mind when we talk about past European Glory, like Manchester United or Liverpool. Not only that, two of the best teams of England, Arsenal and Chelsea have yet to win the UEFA Champions League, to glorify themselves in the Europe.
But may be its too early to say that, as in next 10-15 years, I personally think that European League will be only left for English or two Spanish clubs to fight for! Quality of Soccer in Italian Clubs and German Clubs is decreasing drastically, and it is increasing very much in English Clubs. They need to work very hard if they want to achieve that success, which their former players did.
