November 25th 2009 00:05
Chelsea are tightening their grip on the Premiership's top spot after a dominating win over Wolves despite the absence of Lampard, Ballack, and Drogba. Manchester United took sole control of the second spot after their win against Everton while Arsenal were shut out by Sunderland. Liverpool can say goodbye to the title after fighting to another draw, this time against Manchester City. Despite all these interesting results, it was Tottenham who stole the show last weekend with a 9-1 trouncing of Wigan in which Jermaine Defoe had five goals. The full results follow.
