FA Cup Sixth Round Preview
March 11th 2011 14:32
Fixtures:
Saturday Matches:
Manchester United vs Arsenal
Birmingham vs Bolton
Sunday Matches:
Stoke City vs West Ham United
Manchester City vs Reading
Arsenal have had difficult, rather disappointed couple of weeks. They lost an unexpected final of Carling Cup at the hands of Birmingham City. But even this was not as bitter for them as the defeat from the Catalan side, Barcelona. Their 1st leg victory at Emirates went in vain when they visited Nou Camp where their victory was over turned to a defeat and they were knocked out of Champions League! So this is their only hope for any kind of silverware as in domestic league, I dont think that Man Utd will slip from the first position of the table!
It couldn't have been more worse for the Gunners because they have to face Red Devils who have had a good run throughout the season! But Sir Alex Ferguson is not gonna take the Gunners lightly because of the fact that no matter what, Arsenal is still a very dangerous side and can turn the tables any time!
Meanwhile, the dark horses, Birmingham will look to get hand of another silverware for the season, this will be a lot difficult for them...but u never know anything can happen!
Manchester City are eager to show their strength to the European clubs, but cannot do so because of the limited trophies in their trophy cabinet! So obviously is important for them to win every competition in order to show the worth of their 'spendings' for last two seasons! There fixture will be against Reading, and I want Man C to win this fixture easily, as now they are a better team!
