Madrid vs O.Lyon (Match Result)

The match of Lyon and Madrid ended in a draw, and it was entertaining from the very start, as both teams cancelled each other out. The scoreline remained 1-1, and Madrid still have an advantage of away goal, so even a goaless draw will do it for Madrid to go to next round.
Lyon played very well in the first half as they denied Madrid many goal scoring chances, and they themselves kept madrid defenders busy with their attacks. Bastos along with Tollulan were posing great threat to the Spanish side. Although Gomiz missed the best chance of the game when the ball rebound after Casillas saved it but the sriker guided the ball miles away from the goals.
When second half kicked off, Madrid's Luck totally gave up as Madrid's attempt to goal ended up hitting the pole twice in first five minutes of second half. Then on came Benzema to replace Adebayor, to play against his former club, and scored a deciding goal just after 42 seconds he was subbed in! After that Lyon lost its path and didnot performed well, and gave many chances for Madrid to attck. But it was the 83rd minute when Gomiz turned the header pass grom Cris during a freekick into the goal! And the scores were level Again.
