Possible Injury threat for Gerrard!

Liverpool skipper can face a long spell of an injury as the Liverpool FC medical staff is scared that he might requires a groin surgery which will keep him off the pitch for a long time for this season. Not only that, he will then also miss England's Euro 2012 qualifier with Wales and the friendly against Ghana.
The Liverpool attacker did not travel with his club for tonight's Europa League last 16 first leg against Braga in Portugal. He have carried his injury for months now, and it is feared that now it should be operated. Meanwhile the Liverpool manager is also eager to avoid speculation, as he said:
Liverpool have had terrible last two seasons, but in this season, they have shown some improvement, they resides at the 6th position in Barclay Premier League! But still it is a hard task for them to qualify for any European Competition! And right now, Europa league silverware is their best chance!
